Shipping and Return Policy

Cancellations/Order Changes:

All products are custom made with the only exception being the "Stock / Ready to Ship" products. Payment for custom made products is required in advance and your credit card will be charged once the order is reviewed and approved by Badges Ex Cetera. You will receive an email notifying you when your order has been confirmed and sent to the factory for production.
Orders cannot be cancelled or changed after they are sent to the factory. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Delivery:

Most orders received in our office are processed through our order entry system usually within 24 hours. Orders found to be incomplete are set aside until missing information can be obtained. The process of producing a quality product is unavoidably time consuming. Although we carry a large inventory of stock components, they are all in the raw state and require additional work prior to assembly. However, if custom badge styles, panels, or other components are needed, the lead time unfortunately is extended. Due to our stringent quality control guidelines, a product may be rejected at any point throughout the manufacturing process. Once this occurs it may have to be remade, again causing unavoidable delays. Delays of this type are minimal however.

Normal delivery on orders differ between the manufacturers, the estimated production time is shown at the top of each products page. These are estimated and are in business days. During the following dates, November 1 to January 31, estimated production times are longer due to the holiday season and the larger volume of orders that are sent to the factories. Delivery times are not guaranteed.

Returns and Exchanges

All products are custom made to order. Returns and/or exchanges are not accepted. All sales are final. Repairs or replacements are made only in cases of manufacturer error or defect. In cases of manufacturer’s error or defect, a return authorization will be issued in order to perform repairs, or to replace the incorrect product with a corrected replacement. Under no circumstances will monetary refunds be issued.

Orders requiring credential verification:

Badges Ex Cetera prides itself on protecting the integrity and security of not only you, our customer, but all citizens. In order to do so, we require verification for all of the following types of badges.

  • Any badge that refers to Law Enforcement. This includes but is not limited to Police, Officer, Sheriff, Trooper, Marshal, Constable, Highway Patrol, District Attorney, Judge, Parole, Probation, Peace Officer, Corrections, and Patrolman.
  • Any badge that refers to Schools. This includes but is not limited to Campus Security, School Guard, Truant Officer, and University Security.
  • Any badge with a Federal Seal. These badges are restricted and require an official authorization, such as agency purchase order, agency credentials, order with an official agency email address.
  • Any other badge that we suspect may be ordered by an un-authorized person(s). We reserve the right to request identification for any order.
